2005/02/15 - THE FINAL POST!
Ladies and gentlemen, we have decided to bury Solar Dawn, once and for all! 8 years have passed since the day we gave birth to this melodic monster and time has taken its toll, to an ever increasing extent. Somewhere along the line we somehow began losing our hearts to Solar Dawn and without genuine commitment, there's really no point in continuing. We'd like to thank everyone who has contributed, in any way, to the history of Solar Dawn, as well as we'd like to take off our hats to all of you who have bought our albums, showed up at the gigs, visited this site and so on! You will not be forgotten! This is where it all ends...

2003/07/24
The site is once again up and running (a lengthy process of changing server was the reason for its recent inactivity). As goes for new material, one pre-productional song has been recorded so far and another one will be so as well, shortly. We still have to take some pictures of the new line-up, in order to give the website a proper face-lift, layoutwise. Hopefully this will be a reality, before the end of the summer! More news as it happens!

2003/04/06
We're back! After several months of hard work with other commitments, we're now finally ready to resume our work with Solar Dawn. A pre-productional recording-session, will take place shortly. Also, a major up-date of the website is on its way, so from now on, be sure to check this site at regular intervals.

2002/11/04
We've decided to take a short break from Solar Dawn. The fact is that Christian and Henrik are busy at the moment, recording the new Unmoored-album (set for a spring-release, through Code666). Christian is also, along with Anders, in the midst of making the final preparations for their debut-album with Incapacity (also set for a spring-release, but through Cold Records). This recording will start off, approximately, one month from now. As soon as things cool down, we will resume our work with Solar Dawn. In the meantime, we wish you all a sinful Christmas and a hellish new year!

Unfortunately we have been forced to cancel our gigs in Denmark, since Christian's throat (his vocal chords more exactly) is suffering from a severe inflammation, at the time being. Taetre will still be playing though!

2002/07/23
In october we will be visiting Denmark for two live-shows, together with our new labelmates TAETRE (Swe). One gig is confirmed and set to be held at the "Tex Bar" in Copenhagen, on the 5:th of October. Hopefully there will also be a second gig held in Aalborg, on the 4:th of October, if things work out! More news on this as it happens!

2002/05/15
Due to different reasons, we've parted with guitarist Andreas Månsson. Christian will be handling the rhythm-guitar from now on, alongside continuing screaming his lungs out, while Robban Karlsson (also in Edge Of Sanity and Facebreaker, to name a few), is the one taking over the bass-duties from Christian. Pictures of the new line-up, as well as more information on Robban, will follow shortly.

Equinoctium is now released worldwide, through Mighty Music. In the following parts of the world, Equinoctium is released under license from Mighty Music; north America (Candlelight Records), Poland (Empire Records) and Russia (Irond Records).

2002/04/18
April 30 is the release-date set for Equinoctium in America. It will be out through Candlelight Records, under license from Mighty Music.

As goes for the website, we've added a few more new reviews and interviews to the misc.-section. Finally, we've also fixed ourselves a guestbook. Feel free to share your hellish thoughts!

Equinoctium is set to be released in March through Mighty Music and we're proud to announce that it will be licenced to Candlelight Records for the US-market. We also recently did an interview for Close-Up Magazine, that will be featured in the April-issue along with an appearence on the soundcheck-compilation-cd that comes with the magazine.

In time there will also be samples off our new album available through a sound section that will be featured in the misc-section.
